Out of all the things I think I’m truly passionate about, one of them has to be Shakespeare. I fell in love at school with Henry V, then King Lear, and from there on I couldn’t get enough of all things Bard.
But blogging might seem like an odd thing to do about Shakespeare. After all, who would read me banging on about Shakespeare in a spare five minutes, over a cuppa?
I’m hoping that person is you.
Whether you are brand new to Shakespeare, or looking to rekindle an interest, I hope you’ll join me as I continue to discover everything there is to know about Shakespeare’s plays. I have so many areas I want to find out more about, and I’d love for you to point me in the direction of any Shakespearean gems you think I’d adore!
After all, as Ben Jonson said, “He was not of an age, but for all time”.
